George H. & Helen B. Selby
Mr. Selby was a successful farmer who attended Ohio University and graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Agriculture. Mrs. Selby was the daughter of John Butterworth, who had extensive land holdings in Haverhill.
Mrs. Selby had always felt education and young people were the foundation of our great country and donated a substantial sum of money. The earnings from the fund benefits the advancement of fine arts, performing arts, applied arts and other programs at Shawnee State University and the Scioto Memorial Hospital Auxiliary College Financial Aid Fund.
