Truman Kneisley
Gift of a Lifetime
Mrs. Roxie G. Kneisley established the Truman H. Kneisley Memorial Scholarship Fund at The Scioto Foundation in memory of her late husband.
Mr. Kneisley was a former teacher, principal and superintendent in the Western Local School District in Pike County, Ohio. He was a science teacher in the Waverly City Schools for 14 years and had a total of 38 years service in the field of education.
Earnings from the Truman H. Kneisley Memorial Scholarship Fund provide scholarships to Waverly High School seniors who are pursuing a degree in science.
Through awarding of this scholarship, it is the hope that a college-bound student will be somewhat assisted financially and will be inspired to maintain academic excellence to complete a Bachelor's Degree.
