Bettie L. Diehl
The Bettie L. Diehl Memorial Trust Fund provides scholarships for nurses seeking advanced education in the care of cancer patients.
Bettie was a native to Portsmouth and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond D. Hicks. She was educated in Portsmouth and was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. She was married to Richard Diehl in 1948 and raised five children.
" This fund has been set up as a perpetual memorial to Bettie's love and care for her family. We see the fund as a small help in the search for advance techniques in the care of cancer patients.
