A School Endowment at the Scioto Foundation is a simple and efficient way to build philanthropic capital for your school district. Our experienced staff can help you develop planned giving programs and assist with investment management and administrative details.
How it works

Your school works with our professional staff to complete a fund agreement.
We set up a special fund in the name of your school district.
Your school receives annual statements on the fund.
Alumni, friends and staff can add to the fund at any time.
We handle all the administrative details, including investment management and help in specifying grant disbursements, so that your school's assets are where they're needed.
Your gift will be placed into an endowment that is invested over time. Earnings from your fund can be used for: scholarships, professional development for teachers, students' learning, athletic programs, etc. This gift and all future earnings from the gift become a permanent source of community capital, helping you to do good work forever.
