South Central Ohio Nonprofit Network Forum
Since 2002, the Scioto Foundation has co-sponsored the South Central Ohio Nonprofit Network, which is a peer-exchange forum, held in the spring and fall of each year. The goal of the Network is to encourage greater cooperation and collaboration among nonprofit organizations by sharing information and resources.

The South Central Ohio Nonprofit Network is timely for a number of reasons. As financial resources for the nonprofit world continue to dwindle, and as market conditions continue to change, it's important for nonprofits to begin finding ways of working closely together. Today, the national trend is to make nonprofit organizations as accountable as for profit organizations. Nonprofits, because they serve the public trust, are accountable financially as well as socially.
The Network was created through collaboration with the Scioto County Office of OSU Extension. This collaboration along with the development of the South Central Ohio Nonprofit Network's Leadership Team has given the forum its success.
